Description of Project




The first phase includes replacing the entire wooden structure of Ammonia, Urea and Utility Cooling Tower in accordance with the existing design and foundation of CUFL. In addition, the removal and dismantling of the electrical and mechanical equipment of the towers and fixation by CUFL/Contractor’s supplied material after installation of new wooden structure and Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP). The existing fire protection system of the towers internal wooden structure will be replaced as well.
The second phase consists of construction of a new cooling tower cell for Ammonia Plant by supplying Chemical treated Douglas wood and Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) members with new RCC basin including necessary design & drawing in accordance with the existing design of Ammonia Cooling Tower. New electrical and mechanical equipment and fire protection system for the new tower will be installed
