Recently, the MD & CEO of ERI, Mr. Akber Hakim moderated a leadership session held by United International University. The session was a part of two days event organized by UIU & Workplace Skills Development Academy (WSDA-New Zealand). This summit highlighted how skills development culture is changing worldwide and how important it is to learn new skills to remain ahead in the career path.
The panelist in the session were Mrs. Sonia Bashir Kabir, Country Manager, Microsoft Bangladesh; Mr. Nazir Alam, CEO, The Future Leaders Ltd. along with Mr. Humayun Rashid, MD of EnergyPac. They talked about their experiences and how they have reached their positions today. They urged the young people to take ownership and give their all to their jobs which eventually will be followed by ultimate success.
Her Excellency Heather Cruden, High Commissioner of Canada was the Chief Guest at the Opening Ceremony and Mr. Atiur Rahman, Governor, Bangladesh Bank was the Chief Guest at the Closing Ceremony of the Summit.United International University was grateful to Mr. Hakim for organizing the session which was a great success.
